Charlie is a mining engineer with broad experience across site leadership, operational, and technical roles in Australian underground metalliferous operations.
Charlie has worked across sub-level open stoping, sub-level caving, narrow vein, and block caving mines, providing a practical understanding of how different mining methods are selected, integrated, and executed under varying conditions.
His experience includes:
- Establishing underground mining systems, stoping frameworks and planning processes to support Production ramp-up to nameplate capacity at Woodlawn Mine in NSW.
- Responsibility for scheduling, drill and blast, backfill and ventilation at Cannington Mine in QLD.
- Supervisory time leading the underground development stream at Cannington Mine in QLD.
- Paste/Backfill engineer at Cannington Mine in QLD.
- Production engineering roles supporting sub-level cave operations at Telfer Mine.
- Contributing to block cave production at Cadia Valley operations, responsibility for cave scheduling and draw control.
